CIRCULAR-PV Presented at the Flagship FuturePV Workshop in Cyprus

CIRCULAR-PV was showcased to the international photovoltaics research community during the flagship FuturePV Workshop, Future-Proofing Perovskite PV – Innovations in Upscaling, Reliability, and Circularity, held at the University of Cyprus from 20 to 22 May 2025. 

Representing the project, Dr. Vasiliki Paraskeva from the University of Cyprus presented the vision, objectives, and scientific approach of CIRCULAR-PV during a dedicated session highlighting European research initiatives. Her presentation focused on the project’s integrated circularity strategy for perovskite photovoltaics, outlining the innovative methodologies that will be employed to address sustainability challenges across the entire PV lifecycle. 

The FuturePV workshop brought together the latest research outcomes and expertise from 14 European projects, offering a unique platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Through keynote lectures, research presentations, interactive panel discussions, and networking activities, the event provided an excellent opportunity for CIRCULAR-PV to debut its research agenda, engage with leading experts in the field, and establish early connections with potential collaborators and stakeholders. 

Participation in FuturePV marks an important milestone for CIRCULAR-PV, reinforcing its commitment to advancing sustainable, reliable, and circular photovoltaic technologies within the European research and innovation landscape.
