FOSS Evolving to PHAETHON
PHAETHON CoE is being established through the PHAETHON Teaming for Excellence Horizon Europe project, signalling in parallel the evolution and upgrade of the FOSS Research Centre into a world-class Centre of Excellence.
Correspondingly, the PHAETHON logo represents an evolution of the FOSS logo, with the copper orange colour of the former turning into ”Verdigris”, the naturally occurring, bluish-green colour that copper changes into when it matures. In this way, the new logo’s font, colour palette, and weight reflect the Centre’s visual, conceptual, and substantive transformation into PHAETHON.
