PHAETHON Project Support Unit Training at Technical University of Denmark

A delegation from the PHAETHON Project Support Unit (PSU) attended a specialised Training at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), between 2 and 6 June 2025.
The Training, which took place at DTU Wind, Risø Campus, aimed to strengthen the procedures and services provided by PHAETHON’s Project Support Unit, thereby contributing to increasing the CoE’s participation and success rates in competitive funding programmes. The Training focused on organisational aspects of setting up a Project Support Unit and establishing operational procedures, while also covering the identification of suitable funding opportunities, proposal development and review, consortium building, and project management practices.
A huge thank you to our Advanced Partners for co-organising and delivering this comprehensive and tailored Training. More specifically, we would like to thank the following Trainers: Patrick Driscoll, Natascha Thorup Schmidt, and Christoffer Maaløe Frandsen.
Conversely, the PHAETHON Trainees consisted of: Stamatis Dimopoulos, Michael Tzionis, and Ioannis Theodorou.
It should be noted that this marks the first Project Support Unit Training organised under the framework of the PHAETHON Teaming Project (Task 2.4: Project Support Unit of WP2 – CoE establishment, management and human resources recruitment).
We look forward to continuing to build on this strong partnership and to strengthening our research support capacity.
