Job Overview
PHAETHON is seeking a motivated and dynamic Fundraising Associate to help secure the financial support needed to sustain and expand our research, educational, and outreach initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in cultivating donor relationships, identifying funding opportunities, and leading fundraising campaigns that strengthen the Centre’s long-term sustainability.
This position can be part-time or full-time and includes performance-related compensation to reward successful fundraising outcomes.
Reporting
The Fundraising Associate reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PHAETHON CoE and is an integral part of the Fundraising Team and the Strategic Development and External Affairs Unit of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising campaigns and donor engagement initiatives.
- Support and help organise fundraising and networking events.
- Prepare funding proposals, progress reports, and impact summaries for stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and monitor fundraising performance.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Genuine passion for supporting research, innovation, and education.
- At least two years’ prior experience in successful fundraising, donor relations, or non-profit development will be considered an asset.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to work independently, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in both Greek and English is preferred.
