CIRCULAR-PV Consortium Convenes for 2nd General Assembly

The University of Cyprus (UCY) hosted the 2nd General Assembly of the CIRCULAR-PV project, held onsite in Nicosia on 23 May 2025 and continued via online sessions on 27 May 2025. The hybrid format allowed broad participation and facilitated productive exchanges among project partners.Â
Consortium members from the University of Cyprus (Cyprus), Solaronix (Switzerland), University of Freiburg (Germany), Forschungszentrum Jülich (Germany), and Dyenamo AB (Sweden) came together to review the project’s progress, discuss recent achievements, and coordinate upcoming technical activities across work packages.Â
The General Assembly also included a laboratory tour of the PV Technology Laboratory facilities at UCY, providing participants with first-hand insight into ongoing research in perovskite PV ageing, characterisation, and circularity-by-design strategies.Â
The meeting marked an important step in strengthening collaboration within the CIRCULAR-PV consortium and ensuring alignment towards the project’s overarching goal of advancing long-lived, recyclable perovskite photovoltaic technologies through coordinated research, innovation, and circular economy approaches.Â
